Sgt. Christopher M. Wilson of Mass., lived in Chicopee and went to high school in Quincy. He left behind a 4-year-old daughter. His mother and stepfather still live in western Massachusetts. Chris received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star medals posthumously; he was previously awarded the Army Good Conduct Medal and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, among other honors. He was 24.
