~*~*~My Step Great Grandfather~*~*~
Joseph Clark was my step Great-Grandfather, he married my Great-Grandmother when the children were still young, my Grandfather, who was born Barney Shunkwiler, changed his name to Barney Clark out of respect for his step-father.
Joseph Clark was first married to Anna C. Fulton and they had four children together, Agnes, Ruth, Francis and Elaine. On March 18, 1913, after Joe had left for work and their oldest daughter Agnes had gone to school, a fire broke out in the home, killing all three of the younger children, Anna died the next day of burns and grief.
