Truax, Lyle 4/16/1925 - 11/10/2014 Grand Rapids Lyle E. Truax, age 89 of Grand Rapids, passed away November 10, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pirl D. and Elizabeth (Frary) Truax, brothers: Harold, Harley, Alvin and Ivan; and sisters: Clara and Margaret. His wife of 59 years, Barbara J. (Conlon) Truax, died on February 2, 2008 and part of Lyle died with her. He is survived by his son Randy (Renee) Truax; grandchildren, Ethan and Kristina and other caring relatives. Lyle was a 1943 graduate of Wayland Union High School and served in the USAAF during World War II. He retired as a Tool and Die Maker from Autodie Corp. Friends may visit with Lyle's family from 3-5 PM, Sunday, November 16, 2014, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, Wayland. A private interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery. Lyle and his family are being cared for by the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, Wayland.
