Funeral services for former Catoosa resident Kenneth Ray Cagle, 43, Sapulpa, were held Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the Smith Funeral Chapel, Sapulpa. He died Saturday in his home. Burial will be in the Green Hill Memorial Gardens, Sapulpa, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Born July 14, 1942 in Claremore, Cagle was a self-employed welder and mechanic. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam conflict. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1320, Sapulpa. He lived in Claremore most of his life. Cagle is survived by two daughters, Christi Cagle of Catoosa and Kenna Ray Cagle of Carrollton, Ky.; one son, Kelly Cagle of Carrollton; three sisters, Barbara Kirkwood of Claremore, Georgia Vanamon of Owasso, Edith Hamlin of Warner; and two brothers, Ralph Cagle of Parsons, Kans., and Melvin Cagle of Chelsea. I first met Kenny when we were both six years old and in the 1st grade. We attended that school in Catoosa, Oklahoma for all twelve years until our graduation in 1960.May he rest in peace.
