Edgar L. Craft Rites Sunday
Funeral services for Edgar Lee Craft, 73, former Decatur resident, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Basham Chapel, near Austinville. Rev. Fred Schlosser will Conduct the rites. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery, Borown, of Birmingham, directing.
Mr. Craft died Thursday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Claude Williamson, Birmingham. He had been ill about a week, after apparently suffering a stroke.
Surviving are one son, Wilburn, Florence; four daughters, Mrs. Jack Bush and Mrs. Harold Simpson, Mobile; Mrs. Claude Williamson and Mrs. Allen Hood, Birmingham; a sister, Mrs. Mary Woodall, Decatur; eight grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
A native of Morgan county, Craft was a retired carpenter and railroad man. He spent most of his life here.
