Son of William Marion Craft. John and his brother David L Craft were killed by John Harrison Mullins, son of Ira Mullins. John Harrison Mullins was one of two survivors of the Pound Gap Massacre.

John Henry Craft and David L. Craft, who were murdered December 9, 1899 in the Wheaton Hollow section of Jenkins.....These young boys were the sons of Ira Mullins' sister, Hulda Mullins Craft and her husband William Marion Craft.
