Mrs. Mary Durst
VINTON - Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Durst, 63, Powell, died unexpectedly at her home Tuesday evening. Born in Vinton, she lived there during her early life, but had resided at Powell for the past 30 years.
She was a daughter of the late Jacob and Maud Russell Boggs.
Surviving are her husband, John Durst; two sons, Thomas of Powell and Lewis of Mt. Vernon; three daughters, Mrs. Robin Escew, Mrs. Evelyn Deal and Mrs. Delores Chamberlain, all of Columbus; four sisters, Mrs. Sally Oiler of Vinton, Mrs. Alice Speakman of Zanesville, Mrs. Gussie McGuire and Mrs. Ruby Cox of Columbus; two brothers, Daniel and Clark Boggs of Columbus; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home by the Rev. Bobby Walker with burial in the Vinton Memorial Park.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Friday from 7 until 9 p.m.
