ABBYVILLE -Alfred Dellenbach, 96, who was crowned Reno County Bicentennial King in November of 1975, died at his home here Thursday night,following a short illness. Born April 13, 1879, at Eureka, Ill., he married Anna Grove in 1906. She died May 12, 1951. He married Gladys Ehling in 1956. A retired farmer, he lived in the Partridge-Abbyville community most of his life.

He was a member of the Abbyville Christian Church.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Abbyville Community Center; Rev. Keith Dellenbach. Burial will be in the Partridge Cemetery. Friends may call 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson. The family suggests memorials to the church building fund.
