Charles W. Pick, 75, died last Friday at 11:50 a.m. at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gutelius, Milton, R.D., following an illness of several years.
Mr. Pick was born in Hartley Township on April 30, 1880, the son of the late John and Hannah Boop Pick. He had been a farmer all his life. His wife, the former Mary E. Hoffman, preceded him in death in 1952. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren, Mifflinburg.
Surviving in addition to Mrs. Gutelius are three sons, Leroy Pick, Charles Pick and William Pick, all of Milton; a sister, Mrs. John Sholter, Laurelton; and several grandchildren.
Services, under the direction of the George E. Carr Funeral Home, were held on Monday from the Church of the Brethren. Rev. Kenneth Franklin, his pastor, assisted by Rev. Mervyn Mensch, officiated. Interment was in the church cemetery.
