Funeral of Late Mrs. Kahley Held Tomorrow Afternoon
The funeral of Mrs Mary E. Kahley, who passed away yesterday at her home, 215 West Douglas street, will be held at 2:30 o'clock Friday at the home, Rev. R. E. Chandler of the Second Presbyterian church officiating. Interment will be made in the city cemetery.
E. N. Black has charge of the funeral arrangements and the following will act as pallbearers: John Rensch, Floyd Niblo, M. S. Tobin, Samuel Kahley, J. E. Hance, Albert Rife.
Mary E. Ilgin was born May 20, 1848, at Cedarville, Ill. Her father, George Ilgin was a pioneer of Stephenson county. In 1868 she was united in marriage to the late Joseph Kahley, a veteran of the civil war. There were six children born to this union, Loyd, George, Hattie, Walter and Flora, who was Mrs. C. P. West, and all of whom have preceded her in death, and E. L. Kahley, captain of station No. 1 Freeport fire department, the only surviving son. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Caroline Bollman of Cedarville, Ill. Her husband died 36 years ago.
Mrs. Kahley was a member of the First Presbyterian church and the Comforting circle of the King's Daughters of the Settlement Home. She was known for her kindness and her devotion to her church and charity work.

Late Mrs. Mary Kahley
The funeral of the late Mrs. Mary E. Kahley was held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon at the home, 215 West Douglas street, Rev. R. E. Chandler, pastor of the Second Presbyterian church, officiating. E. N. Black had charge of the arrangements, and the following served as pallbearers: John Rensch, Floyd Niblo, M. S. Tobin, Samuel Kahley, Je. E. Hance, Albert Rife. Intermant was made in the city cemetery.
Those who were here from out of town to attend the funeral are: Mrs. Charles Ilgen, Cedar Rapids, Ia., Mrs. Orlando Beck, Chicago; and John Shay, of Galena, Ill.
