He was a son of George and Rachael (Speese) Dearbaugh.
He married Nora Belle Drake, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Charles E, Piqua; a sister, Daisy Marker, Dayton; and two grandchildren.
A resident of Piqua for 50 years, he was last employed by the Favorite Stove and Range company. He was a member of the Greene Street Methodist Church and associated with the Knights of Pythias until the Piqua order was discontinued. He was interested in music until recent years, and served as a cornetist in the orchestra of the Sunday school of the church.
Funeral services were held in the Groven Funeral home, with Rev. A.K. Wilson officiating.
