Mrs. Mary Napolski.
Mrs. Mary Napolski, 74, died Friday (July 2, 1954) at her home, 1315 Lancaster Avenue, after a long illness.
Mrs. Napolski was born in Poland on May 23, 1880. She came to this country 50 years ago, settling in Wilmington. She was a member of St. Hedwig's R. C. Church.
The widow of John Napolski, she is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Anne Barczewski of Newark, who won the national senior chicken cooking contest at the Delmarva Chicken Festival the week of June 20 (1954); Miss Helen Napolski, this city; Miss Dorothy (Kyle) Napolski, at home; and Mrs. Jean (Virginia) Cudnick and Mrs. Cecelia Sliwkowski, both of Wilmington; three sons, Charles, John, and Boles Napolski, all of this city; a sister, Mrs. Frank Zaborowski, and nine grandchildren, also of Wilmington.
The funeral will be held at 8 a.m. Wednesday from her home with requiem mass at 9 o'clock in St. Hedwig's Church. Interment will be at Cathedral Cemetery. Friends may call tomorrow night at the funeral home.
