| Birth: | unknown | | Death: | Sep. 21, 1904 |  Civil War Union Army Officer. He began his Civil War serviced when he was enrolled in the 3rd New Jersey Volunteer Infantry on April 19, 1861. Mustered in as a Private in Company A on May 22, 1861, he served until he was discharged due to wounds at the regimental camp near Fort Worth, Virginia on December 9, 1861. Less then a year later he rejoined the Union war effort, recieving a commission of 1st Lieutentant in the 24th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry on September 3, 1862, and being mustered into Company E on September 16, 1862. He served with his Company through the December 1862 Fredericksburg Campaign, and the May 1863 Operations around Suffolk, Virginia before being mustered out on June 29, 1863 when his enlistment expired.
