Services Held Monday for Mrs. William Davis
Mrs. Bill Davis, 54, of Paullina died Thursday, April 26 in her home after a long illness.
Funeral services were held Monday morning, April 30 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Granville. The Rev. Father Edward Hoffmann officiated.
Pallbearers were Frank Schnoes, Bernard Schnoes, Robert Alborn, Raymond Witt, Clarnece Schmith and Vernon Halstrom. Burial was in St. Joseph Parish cemetery at Granville under the directions of the Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home.
Mrs. Davis, the former Anna Schwebach, was born Sept. 10, 1924 at Granville. She attended St. Joseph Catholic School.
She was married Nov 10, 1943 at Granville. They lived in Paullina since 1946.
Survivors include the widower; five daughters, Mrs. Ferdinand (Ruth) Schaefer of Linn Grove, Mrs. Lance (Rose) Shafer of Meriden, Mrs. Allan (Marge) Stamer of Granville, Mrs. Ronald (Pamela) Jalas of Sutherland and Kristine at home; one son, William, Jr. of Paullina; eight grandchildren; five sisters: Mrs. Rose Koob of Paullina, Mrs. Leonard (Margaret) Grady of Sioux City, Mrs. Ray (Agnes) Grady of Granville, Mrs. Gladys Noethe of Melvin, Mrs. Arnold (Florence) Schmith of Sioux City; and one brother, John of Sheldon.
