He served in Vietnam as a corpsman in the U.S. Navy, was a physician's assistant, respiratory therapist and owned Pet Pals exotic bird store in Clinton Township as well as City Scene online parrot bird toy store.
He was the beloved husband of the late Karen Zaineb.
He is survived by his daughter, Tammy (James) Kieling; grandchildren, Amanda (Jacob) Workman, Amy Kieling and Logan Kieling; great granddaughter, Karen Workman; brother, Pat (Darlene) Zaineb; and sister, Donna Marie (Pete) Reuter.
