|Birth: ||Dec. 22, 1949|
|Death: ||Apr. 17, 2005|
At Age: 55 years, 3 months, 26 days
My dear cousin, Mike, was the son of Dr. Roy Grover Bubeck, Jr. and Jean Margrete Stockdill.
Mike was proud to be a third generation Osteopathic physician, and specialized in Family Practice. The outpouring of love and sadness upon his death, the heartfelt messages so eloquently stated in his obituary notice and guest book, tells of a wonderful life who touched and blessed many lives.
My words here cannot compare to those who knew him during his life. However, I can tell you this: It broke my heart more than any other relative I had found to-date when I finally found his family and discovered that he had so recently and unexpectedly passed away.
Whether one believes in divine guidance or not, it is evident to me that Mike's earthly life only ended that day and his living memory began a new life: one of hope and inspiration within mine, and to all who knew him.
Now that I know his family better, my heart still aches wishing I had known Mike. Yet, in some very comforting ways, I am blessed to know him through them. I have found so much joy in knowing his precious family and the loving memories that they share about all the special moments he brought into their lives, and what they brought into his life as well.
Mike, indeed, was a very special man, filling many hearts with love and respect as a wonderful husband, father, brother, and a doctor who was well-respected for his sincere warmth and compassion.
During his practice, he also dedicated much time and effort into providing flu shots for his local community.
Another special cause to Mike was the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge establishment fund in Arizona, a facility to provide free housing to people battling cancer. Contributions can still be made in Mike's name at:

"A warmer, more loving and compassionate man could not be found. He was a gentle soul who loved his friends and family, and had a particular love of nature and animals. Those who knew Michael well enjoyed his easy-going sincerity and respect for all of God's creations."
