Lisa Denean Cobb

LAKE CITY -- Lisa Denean Adams Cobb, 45, died Friday, March 9, 2007, at N.E.A. Medical Center as the result of an automobile accident.

She was born Sept. 26, 1961, in Jonesboro. She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church near Lake City and was employed by the Veteran's Hospital in Memphis as a registered nurse.

She was preceded in death by her father, Maurese Adams.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Cobb; one son, Drake Cobb; her mother, Eileen Adams; a brother, Steve Adams; paternal grandmother, Luetta Adams; a sister-in-law, Linda Craig; her mother-in-law, Irene Cobb, all of Lake City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. today, March 11, in Monette Cemetery with the Rev. Leon Harvey officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Monette.

For a very special lady. I will always cherish the memories of "Sr. Skip Day" in Memphis with Lisa. We all had a blast. She left this earth too young, but God had bigger plans for her.
