Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Mae Lee, 63, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Moster and Sons Mortuary with burial in East Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Lee whose home was at 227 West Third Street, died at 7 a.m. Tuesday in a Baxter Springs, Kansas hospital shortly after she suffered a heart attack near that city.
The Rushville woman and her husband, Everett E. Lee, were en route to California when Mrs. Lee was stricken.
A lifelong resident of Rushville and Rush County, Mrs. Lee was born August 18, 1901, the daughter of Oda and Grace Winkler. She was a member of the Plum Creek Christian Church, American Legion Auxiliary and the Sexton Ladies Aid Society.
Surviving with the husband are five sons, Eugene, Marshall, and Lewis Lee, all of Rushville, Robert Lee of Perris, Calif., and Larry Lee of Selma; four daughters, Mrs. Orville (Marjorie) Dickson, Mrs. Juanita Warrick, Mrs. Ted (Betty) Eveland and Mrs. Charles (Mildred) Whittaker, all of Rushville; a brother Wilbur Winkler of Rushville; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Hankins and Mrs. Mabel Whittaker, both of Rushville, 37 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
