Professional Hockey Player. Also known as 'Red.' A native of Tillsonburg, Ontario, Anderson played for teams in the NHL, IHL, OIHA, MOHL, EAHL, AHA, and the IAHL, hockey leagues. At 6'00, and 190lbs, Anderson played the position of Defense for the Simcoe Travellers from 1933 to 1934, London Tecumsehs from 1934 to 1936, Cleveland Falcons from 1935 to 1936, Pittsburgh Shamrocks from 1935 to 1936, Rochester Cardinals from 1935 to 1936, Cleveland Barons from 1936 to 1937, Minneapolis Millers from 1936 to 1937, Pittsburgh Hornets from 1936 to 1937, St. Paul Saints from 1937 to 1939, Tulsa Oilers from 1939 to 1941, Detroit Holzbaugh from 1940 to 1941, Johnstown Bluebirds from 1941 to 1942, Boston Olympics from 1942 to 1943, and the Boston Bruins from 1942 to 1943. Anderson was also a member of the EAHL First All-Star Team in 1942. Anderson retired from playing hockey in 1943.
