Dorothy was very much loved. She had a good heart and knew how to have fun. Her laugh still rings in my ears.
She was a woman who made her own way in the world by choice and did it well.
She was a very beautiful person, inside and out.
She was one of five children: Grace, Elsie, Floyd, Carson and Dorothy.
Their father was killed in a train, buggy accident and Annie (their mother) raised the children by herself. The family originally came from Pennsylvania.
My mother, Pasty Mackie Parks said that Annie was Dunkard (something like Amish).
