Forest Norland Fisch Jr., 60, of Three Rivers, Mich., died Wednesday, Sept. 7, at his home surrounded by friends and family.
He was born Jan. 1, 1945, in Brooklyn Navy Hospital, New York, the son of Forest N. and Phyllis A. (Davis) Fisch.
On Nov. 27, 1971, he married Linda Zellner in Saddle River, N.J.
Mr. Fisch graduated from University High School in Greeley in 1963. He graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 1967 and served in the Army as a first lieutenant during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Fisch taught in Three Rivers schools for 30 years. He was the girls volleyball coach and filmed football and basketball games for more than 25 years. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Three Rivers and a past member of the vestry. He was past president of the Three Rivers Lions Club. He loved fishing and music and time with family and friends.
Survivors are his wife, Linda; a daughter; a son; and three grandchildren.
Also surviving are his mother, Phyllis Fisch of Sun City, Ariz.; a sister, Carla Stienforth and husband Robert of Las Vegas; his mother-in-law, Jean Zellner of Maryland; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Bieler and husband David and family of Maryland and Carol Moore and husband Paul of Austin, Texas, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. His father is deceased.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Trinity Episcopal Three Rivers. Cremation. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 ArnoldSt., Three Rivers.
Hohner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial gifts may be made to the West Michigan Cancer Center or the Forest N. Fisch Scholarship Fund in care of the First National Bank of Three Rivers.
