Champion Hightop Sneakers was a Bichon Frise and former showdog. After being hit by a car and losing his eye, he couldn't be shown anymore, so my sister's family happily adopted him. He was such a good dog, and definitely my sister Bobbi's boy. He stuck to her like glue. It was like he knew who had wanted him, whether he was "perfect" or not. When she worked 2nd shift, he always waited for her and his internal clock knew exactly when she should arrive home. If she had to be a few minutes late for some reason, he fretted and whined until she arrived.
He was certainly loved and a favored member of the family. His dogsister Bizkit, a German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix, was very protective of him and he got along well with her and his catsister Katie.
