Sarah Ann(e) Young Davis, *80 years old, formerly of Bracken County, KY died Tuesday, August 6, 1912 at the home of her daughter, Mary Belle Davis Cummins Haley, in Lexington, KY of 'general debility' or chronic nephritis.

Ms. Davis was born in Bracken County and was the daughter of James and Mary Young. Sarah Ann(e) was married to John W. Davis.

She was survived by the following children: James R. Davis, Mrs. Anna Mackelfresh and Malvina Chase, all of New Richmond, OH, and Mr. Charles A. Davis of Milton, Ky, as well as her daughter, Mary Belle Haley of Lexington.

The body was taken to Falmouth, KY on Thursday AM, August 8, 1912 over the Lousiville & Nashville railroad for burial at Blaston (sic) Cemetery, Bracken County.

*Although the obituary AND the death certificate list her age at 80 years (4 months and 10 days), that does not compute with the dates given on the death certificate and which are entered on this memorial (which would be age 82). ??
