Glenn was the son of the late George A. and Florence P. (née Seggerman) Joerger.
A veteran of the US Army, he served in the military from 1951 to May 1956. He attained the rank of Corporal and was honorably discharged at the end of his service.
Glenn was a member of the Masonic Hobasco Lodge no. 716, F. & A.M., Ithaca and Freeville, NY for 46 years.
He was an active member of the Episcopal Church for 60 years, and was a volunteer for the Lancaster County Office of Aging. He was recognized as "An Angel of a Volunteer" for his exemplary service to that organization.
He is survived by two children and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Ralph W. Joerger and his sister, Ralda L. Copelen.
