Jimmy Steven Staton, 60, of 195 Rackley Mill Road died Friday, Aug. 1, 2003 at his home. Born in Marietta, SC, he was a son of the late James Orville and Lucy Mae Duncan Staton. Mr. Staton was an employee of TMA Tool Service in Liberty and a machinist for 30 years with Saco Lowell. He was a member of Cox Chapel Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Sarah Ann Staton, of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Paul Farthing, Tammy Farthing and Tina and Travis Cox; two brothers, Glenn and Tommy Staton; a sister Susan Ellenburg; and six grandchildren, Amber and Ashley Lunsford, Corey and Travis Farthing, Allison Bryson and Cameron Cox. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday morning at The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial in Grand View Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the home. The Howze Mortuary, Travelers Rest, in charge of arrangements.
