Aurilla was the daughter of George Morton and Mary St. John. She was born in Newbury, one of seven children.
She married Wallace William Forshey, 21 Dec. 1865 and they had two daughters.
From her obituary: "She was a woman greatly beloved by all who knew her. In her own home, as wife and mother, she well fulfilled teh Wise Man's ideal of the 'virtuous woman,' whose 'price is above rubies.' She 'looked well to the ways of her household.' To her husband she was a most faithful and efficient helpmeet, adn to her children a tender and devoted mother. As a neighbor and friend she was abundant in hospitality and deeds of kindness. Notably ready to always minister to those who had sickness or sorrow or were in any need."
She was a member of the Congregational Church in Hambden.
