She was born Oct. 19, 1900, in Ottawa Township, Putnam County to John and Emman (Linden) Hornung. She married Raymond Croy on May 25, 1921, and he survives in Ottawa.
Also surviving are two sons, Richard "Bing" and Kenneth, both of Ottawa; three daughters, Mrs. William (Alice) Laibe, Ottawa; Mrs. James (Rita) Martin of McComb; and Mrs. Mary Lou Johnson of Whitehouse; 24 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, a brother, Richard Hornung, in California; a sister, Mrs. Alberta Selhorst, Kalida.
Mrs. Croy formerly owned and operated Croy's restaurant in Ottawa. She was a memebr of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, and its Rosary Altar Society.
A Funeral mass will be said at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Paul Wohlwend officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held after 7 p.m. today and all day Tuesday at McCrate-Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, where a Scripture service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
