THE ALBANY NEWS, December 15, 1983

Nancy Mae McKenzie, 84, of Albany, died Saturday evening, December 10, 1983, at Shackelford County Hospital after a brief illness. Services were at 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 12, at the Assembly of God Church.

The Rev. W. T. Jones, pastor, officiated. Burial was at the Albany Cemetery directed by Godfrey Funeral Home.

Born November 7, 1899 in Bonham, she was the wife of the late John James McKenzie and a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include four sons, Chester and Albert J., both of Dallas; Lonnie J. of Washington, D. C., and Earl of Albany; a daughter, Flora Mae Hendley of Dallas; a sister, Lucy Jackson of Albany; 20 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
