Wilma Jeanne (Triplett) Carr 90, was surrounded by family at home when she joined her family in Heaven on February 13, 2011. Born May 26, 1920 in Marysville, she remained a resident her whole life. Wilma graduated from Marysville High School in 1937. In her twenties, she worked at Camp Beale and later took over the book work for her father's contracting business. During her lifetime, Wilma enjoyed spending time with family and friends, riding her horse "Cricket" with her best friend Peggy Arostegui, gardening out in her vegetable garden, spending summers on the family houseboat at Lake Oroville, "Baking her legs" out in the "pit", flowers, red lip stick, her many pets, QVC, the movie "Gone with the Wind", all John Wayne movies, to name a few. Some of her famous sayings were "For Pete's sake!", "Good Grief Aunt Rody!", "What 'cha been doin' ...mildewin'?", "Pile Out!" and "Oh Boy!", among many others. She was preceded in death by her parents Verne & Bessie Triplett, her husband Merle "Buck" Carr, and her son Verne Carr, all of Marysville. Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law ..., her daughter-in-law ..., three granddaughters: ...; a great-grandson ...; and her dachshund "Baby Boy". Wilma was a wonderful mother and grandmother with a character you only find in the movies. She will be missed beyond words. Services are pending.
