MONTAGUE "Monte" EADIE, 91, a Miami resident for over 70 years before moving to Gainesville, FL, died on January 30, 2008.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY, to Montague and Therese Eadie on January 4, 1917.
He was preceded in death by sisters Annabelle Baurle and Eunice Young.
He is survived by his cherished wife, Margaret, daughter, Phyllis Leone (James) of Gainesville, FL; stepdaughters, Sylvia McCrary (Steve) of Piedmont, SC, and Christine Riordan of McAlpin, FL; and grandchildren James Leone III (Pamela) of Sunrise, FL and Phillip Leone (Jessica) of Miami, FL.
Monte retired in 1982 from the Clerks Office of the Dade County Criminal Court. A World War II veteran, he will be buried at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL, where a graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, February 15.
