Maurice D. Green
Maurice D. Green, 56, Rushville, died Saturday at Rush Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 12, 1941, in Milroy, he was the son of George Washington and Ethel Agnes (VanKirk) Green.
On Feb. 11, 1968, he married Jane (Ellingwood) Green, and she survives.
Mr. Green was a self-employed carpenter for more than 25 years.
He was a member of the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1966 and a member of Main Street Christian Church, Rushville.
Survivors also include two sons, Maurice D. Green II, Fort Wayne, and Joseph L. Green, Glen Ellen, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Kathleen) Brown, Rushville, and Mrs. Jack (Christal) Clevenger, Greenfield; four brothers, Billy Green and John Green, both of Rushville, Robert Green, North Vernon, and George H. Green of Tavares, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Dick (Maurita) Neeb and Mrs. Richard (Kay) Goddard, both of Rushville; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandchild.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Deann Anderson officiating. Burial with military rites will be at Goddard Cemetery, Rush County.
Memorial contributions can be made to the donor's charity of choice.
