Malcolm "Mick" Binyon, 61, of Prairie City, died Sept. 23 at his home.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Binyon was born Jan. 8, 1943, in Cheyenne, Wyo., to John and Cora (Malcolm) Binyon. He graduated from Smith Valley High.

He married Patricia Church on Feb. 19, 1977, in Lake Tahoe, Nev.

Mr. Binyon was a member of the National Guard and worked as a lineman for the power company in several locations over the years.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife Patricia of Prairie City; his mother Cora of Sparks, Nev.; three daughters Deborah Kutnyak of Portland, Dianna Parry of Boring and Doreen Doty of Portland; two sons Duke Dexter of Portland and Aaron Leary of Sparks, Nev.; two sisters Johnna Frazzi and Barbara Wilson both of Sparks, Nev.; and 10 grandchildren.
