|Birth: ||Mar. 10, 1963|
|Death: ||May 3, 1968|
Judith Marie Bialota was born March 10, 1963 in Trenton, N.J.
She was born with a hole in her heart and in her short life had endured a few major surgeries. To look at her you would not have been able to tell just how bad off her heart defect was. She looked like the picture of health, with her beautiful blue eyes, her golden blonde hair, and her peaches and cream complexion.
She had a wonderful personality that made one instantly like her. She was quite an intelligent little girl who actually taught herself to read by age 4, by listening to her mother read to her and following along with all her story books. She loved singing and dancing. She also loved to go to Sunday School at the Groveville Methodist Church. Judy enjoyed visiting with her family and friends of which she had many. She also won the hearts of many of her doctors and nurses. Judy died on May 3, 1968 after undergoing open-heart surgery. She was buried in the Stevens Family plot in the Greenwood Cemetery in Trenton, N.J.
A poem written by Judy's grandmother
Emma (Hoag) Stevens
WE MISS JUDY
Often in the still of evening...
as the sun is sinking low...
We think of our loving grandchild...
and times that seem long ago...
She's been gone only a short while...
to a land across the sea...
but each day without her near us...
seems like a century....
Strange how one five year old angel...
is engraved upon our heart...
Granddad and grandmom are just big babies...
so we yearn while we're apart...
and as I behold her picture...
big blue eyes look into mine...
I reach out but cannot touch her..
So I ache and so I pine...
Memories of our Judy running all about
telling stories and singing and her laughter fills our heart...
Yes, indeed we miss our Judy...
and I hope that time will fly...
in the meantime please forgive me....
if perchance you see me cry.
wrote this poem about her daughter, Judy.
Judy My Love
God gave me one of his angels to love
He sent her down from Heaven above
to make my life complete
She smiled at me the first time we did
I took her into my arms and held her
this little angel God gave to me
Her little heart was so big for all the
love she gave
And that twinkle in her eyes and her
smiles made me so happy
Then one day in May, God called her
home to him
And now she is in His care for ever-
more to be.
Remembered and sadly missed by
Daddy, Mommy, and sisters Cheryl

My little brother was born with the same thing. My family is blessed that he just happened to be born 10 years later than you, when they knew what to do.|
