Mrs. Horn was born Nov. 19, 1922, in Elgin to Benjamin "Overton" and Gladys H. (Duncan) Scott. She was raised in Elgin and graduated from high school there. In 1953 she married Edwin Vere Horn in La Grande. They lived in Elgin until 1955, Albany until 1971, and then moved to Hermiston. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Edwin of Hermiston; sons Mark Horn of Hermiston and Jerry Coe of Albany; daughter Emilie Coe Faul of Kennewick, Wash.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson Gary Dean Kirk; granddaughter Darcie Kirk; brothers Howard and Warren Scott; and sisters Hazel Jones and Hilda Scott Bird.
