Nancy Alspach Is Dead In Jackson
Elderly Woman Passes Away At Home Of Son, After Long Illness
Mrs. Nancy Alspach, 77, a lifelong resident of Jackson township, passed away at 7:15 Tuesday evening at the home of her son, Daniel Alspach, one mile west of Roll, following an illness for the past 18 months from paralysis.
Born in Jackson township on Aug. 8, 1856, the deceased was a daughter of Carson and Rebecca Jones Cloud. Her husband, Calvin Alspach preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 1917.
Surviving are five sons, Daniel Alspach, near Roll; Amos Alspach, Hardinville, Ill.; Charles Alspach, Bridgeport, Ill.; and Clinton and Quincey Alspach, St. Marys, O., and a sister, Mrs. Sarah Dillman, near Warren.
Mrs. Alspach was a member of the Union Chapel church at McNatts.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Friday morning at the McNatts Union Chapel church, in charge of Rev. George McKinley, Garrett. Burial will be in the Asbury Chapel cemetery.
