Anna Frances Barnett Lesovsky, daughter of Anton and Annie Winbinger Barnett, was born April 10, 1897, on the original Barnett homestead situated one mile west of Cuba. She died October 15, 1977, at the Republic County hospital, Belleville, at the age of 80 years, six months and five days.
She received her formal education in the Silverthorne and Cuba school systems.
She was united in marriage on October 6, 1914, to Charles Lesovsky. They had three daughters and one son.
She was a member of the United Presbyterian church of Cuba, a charter member of the Homemakers Club, and a member of the Republic County Czech Club No. 3.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Louis, Edward, Albert, Joseph and Charles, and only son, Charles She is survived by her husband, Charles of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Azel (Leona) Joy of Narka; Mrs. Max (Irene) Feil of Cuba; Eugene (Katherine) Hadachek of Cuba; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Bocquin, Reading; Mrs. Emma Bibbie, Lyndon; and Mrs. Bessie Fisher, Cuba; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 18, at 11 a.m., at the United Presbyterian church of Cuba conducted by the Rev. Tom Ballard.
Interment was made in Kopsa cemetery.
