Mrs. Jane (Robertson) Foote, of 389 Stanley Street, widow of Joseph Foote, died this morning after
a long illness at a local convalescent home. She had been a patient at New Britain General Hospital
until yesterday.
Born in Lonaconing, Md., Mrs. Foote lived in this city for more than 40 years. She was a member of
Trinity Methodist Church and was an honorary life member of the Women's Society of Christian
Service of the church.
Mrs. Foote leaves three sisters, Mrs. Mary Humphrey of Kensington, Mrs. Elizabeth Dobbie of Pittston,
Pa., and Mrs. Agnes McLuckie of Fairmont, W. Va., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the B.C. Porter Sons Funeral Home. The
Rev. Wilford Hansen of Trinity Methodist Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow from 3 to 5 p.m.
and from 7 to 9 p.m.
