Second generation American born in Brooklyn. Worked on his father's farm in upstate New York until he enlisted in the Corp during WW2. After serving seven years, moved to Queens, NY and started to raise a family. Moved again in 1965 to Bethpage, Long Island, NY and worked for the A&P food chain until it went under in the 1980s. Then worked various jobs through retirement. Died in 2000 due to knee surgery complications. Survived by wife Helen of 50 years, their two sons (Jeff & spouse Liz, and Bruce), daughter (Bonnie & spouse Joe) six grandchildren, and brother Art with his spouse Peggy.
