Birth: 1890
Death: Jan. 26, 1967

My grandmother was a wonderful lady. She helped her husband and children work the farm land at their home in Germania, NJ. While I don't remember alot about her, as she passed away when I was 9 yrs old, these are some of the things I remember. She made the best strawberry pie. I remember playing "bingo" with her alot and the prize was always a sweet treat. She also canned alot of the vegetables & fruits during harvest. I remember seeing her picking berries & other vegetables, always wearing her bonnet. I also remember her homemade toys, especially the sock monkeys, probably fashioned from one of the kids' socks. She always had a beautiful smile and had a fondness for the farm cats that always were given interesting names by her.
