Bob was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving during World War II. He married Mary (maiden name unknown), they have one son, Robert Lee Rinker b.1947, who died in a car accident at the age of 21 years in California.
Bob was the owner-operator of Rinker's Funiture in Independence, Missouri. He is survived by one niece, three nephews and a special friend, Gay Rigby.

I had the privilege of knowing Bob...he didn't know a stranger and he was fond of teasing everyone. I never saw him without a smile on his face. One of my fondest memories was a fishing trip at Bennett Spring State Park, Missouri with the "whole gang".
