Born in Milford, Conn., a son of the late Charles J. and Gladys (Palmer) Lee, he lived in North Kingstown for 25 years.
Mr. Lee also had worked at Barber Hardware Co., Mancini Hardware Co. and Wickford Lumber Co., all in Wickford.
He was a member of the Hope Lodge No. 25, F&AM, of Wakefield and Fleet Reserve Association Branch No. 42, Davisville.
Besides his wife he leaves three daughters, Sharon K. Lee of South Kingstown, Barbara A. Heise of North Kingstown and Linda J. Hendershot of Saunderstown; two brothers, Frederick A. Lee of Orange, Conn., and Herbert P. Lee in Florida; and five grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Lawrence E. Fagan Jr. Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Rd. Burial with military honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
