Pearl Gesina Luetjen, 85, of Cole Camp, died Saturday, April 29, 2006, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was born May 2, 1920, near Cole Camp, a daughter of George H. and Katherine Augusta Miesner Luetjen.
On May 3, 1936, at Monsees Lutheran Church in rural Cole Camp, she was married to Walter Elmer Luetjen, who survives of the home.
Mrs. Luetjen graduated eighth grade from Hinck School and was a homemaker.
She was a member of United Lutheran Church in Cole Camp.
After moving to town in the mid-1970s, she cleaned several local businesses and United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed canning, gardening, working on the farm, quilting and making rag rugs.
Survivors also include a sister-in-law, Hilda Luetjen, of Cole Camp; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, a sister, Clara Luetjen, and three brothers, Awalt Luetjen, Norman Luetjen and Harvey P. Luetjen.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp, with Pastor Marvin Stuenkel officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Cole Camp.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp.
