Capt. Harry Hazzard Buried at Arlington National Cemetery
Died in Walter Reid Hospital on Thursday Following Operation
Word has been received here of the death of Capt. Harry Hazzard in the Walter Reid hospital, Washington, on Thursday following an operation. Capt. and Mrs. Hazzard were on their way to Florida when he was taken sick and underwent an emergency operation at the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Arton, of Potsdam, were with him at the time of his death. Mr. Arton is a brother of Mrs. Hazzard.
Capt Hazzard was a retired army officer of the regular army and has visited this section on numerous occasions. He was a member of the Potsdam Masons and was given a Masonic funeral. He was buried in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
