|Birth: ||Nov. 25, 1868|
|Death: ||Dec. 4, 1946|
The son of Alexander Daniel and Sopha Polston, he married Della Scott on June 17, 1891. They had 3 children: Balla, Omra and Orvis. One of his occupations was as Sheriff of Monticello, Kentucky.
He was my great-grandfather. My uncle Roy told me that his grandfather was the nicest man he ever knew and that without him, he would have never made it. When my dad joined the army, he was living with his grandparents, Asa and Della Polston, in Whittle, Kentucky. Asa died a little over a year after Dad got home from the war.
Many thanks to Thelma Kathleen, my Canadian friend, for sponsoring my special great-grandpa's memorial.
