Beatrice L. Holbein, age 84, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2002 at her residence. Preceded in death by loving husband Frederick, adorable daughter Sadie Holbein Younkin. Survived by son, Ronald (Joyce) Holbein; daughters, Carol (Art) Gilkerson, Judy Shepherd and Barbara (Bob) Price; 31 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Alice McKay, Mildred Pierce and Helen (Quinto) Volpe; brother, Norman (Mona) Kuhn; son-in-law, Carl Younkin; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Friends may call at the O.R. Woodyard Co. Chapel, 255 E. State St. Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held Thursday 10:30 a.m. Pastor Jeff Gilkerson officiating. Interment Blendon Township Cemetery. Family wishes to thank Dr. A. Arn for all he did and the Columbus Police Department and the Fire Department for their assistance.
