Boyd Wesley Grossnickle
On the morning of July 13, 2008 our little warrior was released from his battle to return to the loving arms of his awaiting family. Boyd was born on September 23, 1974, the oldest child of Wesley Arnold Grossnickle and Debra Gayle Creekmore in Granger, Utah.
At the age of five Boyd's family moved to American Fork, Utah where he began his education at Greenwood Elementary, moving a few years later to Lehi, Utah where he attended Sego Lily, Lehi Jr. and High School. After High School he went on to work for Sento in American Fork and Orem.
He was currently employed by Teleperformance USA in Lindon. In his work he was able to make friends around the world. Even though his body was ravaged, Boyd lived life to the fullest and expected few limitations and encouraged other to do the same.
Boyd leaves behind his loving parents, his siblings, Jack Ellis, Salt Lake City, Utah, Kirk Douglas, Ballwin, Missouri, Sena LeighAnn and Rickey Dee, Lehi, Utah, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind his special friends Kelly, Matt, Lisa, Robbie and Rachael. Preceded in death by his grandparents Boyd and Martha Grossnickle, Jack and Dona Creekmore and his very special great-grandmother Cressie Greenland whom he adored.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Marshall Willis, Jennie and the staff of Tri-City Medical for all of the years of loving care. Also, all of the doctors and staff of UVRM and UVSH who shared our world over the last few months and made him laugh again. Know that you are all special and will be remembered with love and gratitude by his family.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Jordan Willows 5th Ward Chapel, 496 South 2800 West, Lehi, Utah. Look for Me in springtime

As raindrops fill the air

In the splendor of the rainbow

You'll find My presence there.

You will find Me in the fragrance

Of April's sweet perfume

Drifting through the clover

On a sultry day in June.

An August day will find Me

Upon the summer breeze

On the distant sound of the thunder

In the gently swaying trees.

In the golden fields of harvest

Is where I can be found.

As autumn time approaches

And leaves comes tumbling down.

In the wintertime when days are short

And a chill is in the air

Just look into a moonlit night

You'll find Me lingering there.

When the setting sun has gone away

And shadows fill the night

When the cloak of darkness lifts its veil

I'll be your morning light.

So when you feel discouraged

Get on your knees and pray

You'll feel Me there beside you

I'm just a breath away.
