Beulah M. Coplin, 95, of Quincy, passed away Monday, Sept. 22, 2008 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility, Coldwater.
She was born Sept. 23, 1912 in Woodbridge Township, to Glen and Emma (Tittle) Swaney and graduated from Reading High School in 1931.
Mrs. Coplin helped her husband with the Quincy Home Dairy business for over 20 years, worked at Sarge's Market, and was the Quincy Village Treasurer for many years.
She belonged to the Rebekah Lodge of Quincy and the Quincy Union Church for over 50 years.
On July 20, 1931, she married Earl G. Coplin, and he preceded her in death in 1991.
Survivors include daughter Glenna (Junior) Gary of Quincy, sisters Viola Cozart of Florida and Betty Padget of Reading, brother Paul Swaney of Reading, grandchildren Craig (Juli) Gary and Cam (Brenda) Gary, great-grandchildren Cody, Dustin, Benjy, Stacey, Katie, Spenser, Brandon and great-great-grandchild Caylen.
Along with her husband, she was also preceded in death by daughter Beverly Coplin, sisters Mamie Benjamin, Martha Kellam and Lela Miller and brothers Orville and Olin Swaney.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the George White Funeral Home, Quincy, with interment following in Lakeview Cemetery, Quincy.
Visitation is scheduled Thursday from 12 noon until time of service.
Memorials are suggested to the Quincy Union Church or the Quincy Library.
