Charles William Shear, who was known as Bill Shear was the oldest son of John William Shear and Myra Lake Shear. He married Mary Elizabeth Miller May 05, 1942 in Canton, Lewis Co, Missouri. Together they had 8 children, and 10 grandchildren.

Bill was a farmhand who worked on other farmers land practically his entire life. He was a hard worker and he was dedicated family man who loved his family.

Bill was my grandfather and he loved to fish and hunt.
