She was born Feb. 5, 1905, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to George and Louise (Dillon) Salyers. She married Henry M. Beavers on July 3, 1929, in Kentucky, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 16, 1986.
Mrs. Beavers was a graduate of Prestonsburg High School and attended Pikeville College in Kentucky. She was a homemaker and teacher. She taught in a one-room school house in Kentucky and was a substitute teacher in Frankfort.
Mrs. Beavers moved to Frankfort in 1937 and was a Pink Lady at Frankfort Hospital for many years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was very active in the church.
Surviving is one daughter, Nancy (Scott) Kesselmayer of Maumee, Ohio; one grandson, John Henry Stampe of Columbus, Ohio; and nieces and nephews.
