Lucille M. Wilkins, 96, of Onalaska, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Bethany St. Joseph Care Center. She was born on February 14, 1916 to Gilbert and Ida Williams. She married Luther Roy Wilkins on October 4, 1940 in Lonoke, Arkansas and he preceded her in death on July 24, 1993. Lucille was a 50 year member and a former Grand Matron of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed gardening and fishing. She is survived by her sons, Sonny (Mary Jane) Wilkins of Kenosha, WI and Thomas (Susan) Wilkins of Hot Springs, Arkansas, daughter, Jean (Lloyd) Thomas of Algoma, WI, four grandchildren, Jay Wilkins, Jennifer Nelson and Katie and Marcilee Wilkins. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Jaden Nelson and Cameron and Carson Wilkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a sister, Marcilee and three brothers, Roy, Eugene and JD Williams. Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Onalaska United Methodist Church, 212 4th Avenue. The Reverend Jenny Arneson will officiate and burial will be in the Onalaska Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Dickinson Family Funeral Home, 401 Main Street Onalaska, and again at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Lucille M. Wilkins Memorial Fund.
